Privacy Policy
Effective 3 October 2026
Photo Import ("we", "us") lets customers of photo labs and print shops (each a "Shop") add photos from their Google Photos library to an order with that Shop. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Photo Import is operated by Pixfizz Limited (company number 05076569), 215-221 Borough High Street, London SE1 1JA, United Kingdom ("the Operator"). Contact: support@photoimport.app.
What Google user data we access
- Only the photos and videos you select in the Google Photos picker, together with their basic file details (such as file name, type, size and the date the photo was taken).
- We use Google's Photos Picker. You choose items inside Google Photos, and we receive only those items. We cannot see, search or browse the rest of your library.
- A temporary access token issued by Google, which lets us download the items you picked.
We do not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive, location history or any other Google data.
How we use it
- To copy the photos you picked into your order with the Shop, so they can be used in the product you are making and printed.
- The access token is used only while the photos are being copied. It is then discarded and is not stored.
- We do not use your photos or Google data for advertising, to build profiles, to train machine learning or AI models, or for any purpose other than the one above.
Who we share it with
- The Shop you are ordering from. The photos you picked become part of your order with that Shop, which uses them to make and deliver your product. The Shop's own privacy policy covers how it handles your order.
- Service providers that host our systems and store files on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Where required by law.
We never sell your photos or personal data.
How long we keep it
Picked photos are stored with your order for as long as the Shop needs them to make your product, provide support and keep its order records, and are then deleted according to the Shop's retention settings. Google access tokens are not stored after the copy is complete.
Your choices and rights
- You can remove Photo Import's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- To ask for photos to be removed from an order, contact the Shop, or email us and we will help.
- If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Security
Data is transferred over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled systems.
